Convert DVD to MPG
There can be times when you would like to snatch a clip or two from your DVD movies for fun, for personal study
or other reasons. For instance, you might want to spoof a scene in a movie, and then post your work to YouTube.
Apparently you'll need to rip the video from your DVD and put it on your computer----and the question emerges:
how?Generally, those player software don't include any ripping function. That's why I recommend Aimersoft DVD
Ripper----with it, extracting movie clips from your DVD and Convert DVD to MPG become a piece

How to convert DVD to MPG
First you'll need to download this DVD to MPG converter, and then install it. The installation process is simple
and quick; it can be done in a few moments.
After installation, launch the DVD ripper. Eject your DVD drive's
tray, put a DVD on it, and close the tray. Click “Load DVD” button at the top of the software, and Aimersoft
DVD Ripper will start analyzing all files on your DVD. When this process is finished, all titles and sections
of the movie will be listed in the box.
A DVD movie contains many parts, however not all parts are what you desire. Click on a title or section to
select it, and then preview its content at the preview window on the right side. If you would like to exclude the
very item from the converting list, remove the tick before it.
If you need to tune the color and brightness, zoom or crop the image or add watermark on the converted video,
select “Edit” button in the toolbar. A dialog will prompt up with all the options you need.
If you decide to start the conversion, just click “Start”. WAIT! Are you sure you wish to extract the whole
movie without any second being left behind? If not, then before starting, click “Clip” to make a selection (e.g.
your favorite or memorable part of the movie itself) of what you want to convert. By discarding the unnecessary
parts can you save your time spent on conversion.
From below the file list, you can choose the caption/subtitle and the soundtrack you wish to use in the output
video. Besides that, there's a context menu named “Profile”---- we need to convert the video into MPG format, so
let's click the menu open. Point at “Common Video”, then “MPEG2 Movie – NTSC” (or PAL regarding your
country/region's TV format). Thus the output video would be in MPEG2 format with an extension of *.mpg.
Okay, in most cases, all that's left for you to do is click the “Start” button and let your computer do the
rest. Or if you need to set a different resolution or tweak the output quality, use the “Settings” panel. When the
process is finished, you can find the output files in your documents/Aimersoft directory, or directly use “Find
Target” button to automatically open the folder for you.
